Built in either a 125B sized enclosure or the compact mini 1590A, the new jfet overdrive covers some old ground in one package.
The circuit utilizes the same topology of my older overdrives, but instead of offering separate pedals, a mini toggle offers 3 different amp tones in one package.
SL: based on a late 60s metal panel Super Lead. Think Jimmy Page live tones from 72 and 1973. This would be the setting most similar to my Albion and Liquid Lead (Led) pedals.
AC: Based on the brilliant channel of the legendary British amp. Tweak the knob settings to capture everything from the Beatles to U2.
SB: Super Bass voiced version of the SL setting. It also covers the normal channel tones of a Super Lead. It's warmer sounding with a fuller low end.
The three knobs are your basic controls for volume, treble, and drive/gain.
The circuit can be powered by up to 18 volts as well, resulting in more output and dynamics.
